We have had a ton of rain and flooding this season, including in our basement. We had wet carpet and moisture dripping down the walls. After some clean up, we plugged this little dehumidifier in and was amazed at how quickly it started pulling the moisture and drying the room up. It's compact and very quiet to leave running. It also has an automatic shut off when the drip tray gets full, and an LED indicator let to let you know. Great for rooms that hold moisture or those without much ventilation.
